My Poetry?
I’m Not a Poet, but I try anyway.

You know, once in a while I try to write a poem. At least, I put some words together that sound good to me. And, you know, I break the lines up and maybe remove some of the punctuation and capitalization because if I didn’t people would say “that’s prose.”
In fact, I think the most poetic, most lyrical, strings of words I produce are actually in my short stories, but it would seem narcisistic to cut and paste them into separate stories here just to draw attention to them.
Anyway, here’s some stuff that is more vertical than horizontal when you view it on the page….
